Miami, Fl, August 30, 2020 – The Miami Chapter of SCORE welcomes Miami Accountant Gustavo A Viera as its newest counselor. SCORE.org is an organization partly funded by the Small Business Administration (SBA). Originally the acronym for “Service Core of Retired Executives”, SCORE is now “Counselors to America’s Small Business”.
Based in Washington, D.C., SCORE is a nonprofit with more than 13,000 volunteers working out of 369 chapters around the country offering advice to small businesses. Volunteers who work for SCORE Miami-Dade and other chapters come from varied backgrounds and areas of expertise. Counselors from the group will meet with small business owners and offer free advice. The chapters host dozens of low-cost workshops. SCORE Miami-Dade has 73 counselors and has recently doubled the number of workshops it offers.
Gustavo A Viera founded his Accounting Firm in 1983. Its original mission statement was to fill a niche market in outsourcing small business bookkeeping other larger firms were not satisfying. “We offered a full suite of services including payroll, accounts receivable, accountants payable, financial reporting other firms were not”, says Mr. Viera.
Today the firm is a full-service Accounting firm serving a wide array of clients in numerous industries, with a strong emphasis on the medical profession.
The firm provides financial solutions to healthcare companies as well as general business clients. We provide the necessary support to new and existing healthcare providers from startup to managing their budgets to producing Medicare Cost Reports, Medicaid Cost Reports, Proof of Financial Ability Reports, Accounting, and Tax Services. We currently assist over 50 healthcare companies in 6 states with their financial management solutions.
Our clients in health care include AHCA Home Health Care Agencies (HHA), Assisted Living Facilities (ALF), Durable Medical Equipment (DME), Pharmacies, Physicians and Groups, and MSO’s.
